Ford was unable to achieve much with either album, and then she decided to leave the scene for 10 years. The album she dominated, "Lita" which came out in 1988 brought her back with a bang. The single 'Kiss Me Deadly' and the ballad "Close My Eyes Forever" have been hugely popular. However, the success of her music was short-lived after which she was absent from the industry for several years. The album release "Black" to the public in 1995 followed the album 'Wicked Wonderland', a little over 15 years after. Her latest album was released in 2016 called 'Time Capsule. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
